Vacancy : Assistant Dean for the Office of Diversity of UIC

The University of Illinois at Chicago Graduate College is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Dean for the Office of Diversity Affairs. The primary areas of responsibilities include: the recruitmentand retention of under-represented students, oversight of the summer research opportunities program, the Graduate Pathways Program, and a variety of fellowship programs. The Assistant Dean will also have responsibility for initiating grant and funding proposals which seek opportunities for graduate students.

Qualifications:
Master's degree and a minimum of three years of work experience in higher education.

For fullest consideration applications should be received by December 16,2009 and should include a letter of application and resume. The anticipated start date is February 16, 2010.
