At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. Physical and Biomedical Sciences Summer Research Opportunities

Northwestern University is offering summer research opportunities in the biological and physical sciences to students from groups underrepresented in the scientific community, including African-American, Hispanic, and American Indian students, as well as students with disabilities and first-generation college students.

The program consists mostly of research work, with lunch seminars on new medical technologies and practices. Students will receive a $3500 stipend in addition to travel reimbursements and free on-campus housing.
