At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. Thus, the following is a list of opportunities where students can go to search for funding, enrich their summers or find work after graduation.

UCSC Internships

The University Community Service Center (UCSC) is welcoming applicants for 2010-2011 academic-year internships. UCSC internships provide paid, substantive experiences to students with a demonstrated passion for, and commitment to, public service. Internships are based on-campus, at the University Community Service Center, and liaise to community based organizations.

Internship descriptions (duties, qualifications, hours, pay) and application instructions are posted on Chicago Career Connection. To access these positions, students may log in to CCC and search under the “jobs and internships” tab, and then “Chicago Career Connection Jobs” from the drop-down menu. Search keywords: UCSC.

Applications will be accepted beginning Friday, February 12th and interviews for qualified candidates will be conducted on a rolling basis through Monday, March 29th.

Questions may be directed to Klaas H. Van Der Wey: klaas@uchicago.edu.
