At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. 2010 Chicago Legal Pipeline Symposium

The goal of the symposium is to mobilize the collective resources of the Chicago legal community to empower a more diverse group of students to become compelling candidates for legal careers. Keynote address by the Honorable Ann Claire Williams, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and lunchtime presentation by Professor Sarah Redfield, Franklin Pierce Law Center and author of Diversity Realized: Putting the Walk with the Talk for Diversity in the Legal Profession.

The Closing Reception will highlight local pipeline programs.

The Pipeline Symposium is open to attorneys, law firm staff, law students, and other members of the legal community.
