ACTS Syracuse Hiring New Executive Director

The Alliance of Communities Transforming Syracuse has an opening for an Executive Director!

ACTS is an inter-faith, multi-racial and urban-suburban coalition of faith communities and organizations throughout the greater Syracuse region that organizes to create a powerful civic force for equity and justice.

Organizer Skills: Have experience, knowledge of political process/agendas and political savvy. Provide volunteer leadership training. Have strong communication/writing skills, with ability to handle diversity and the wisdom to build key relationships with community leaders, pastors and the leadership of congregations. Develop alliances with unions and other community organizations, while remaining independent, promoting a social justice agenda. A strategic thinker, a self starter with administrative skills will be paramount to the position, and open to training and supervision.

ACTS Executive Director total salary and benefit package is $35,000 - $55,000 and is negotiable. Salary is based on experience and on responsibility with health benefits.
