At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. Transforming Race: Visions of Change Conference

The Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity is pleased to announce its call for proposals for the third biennial conference, Transforming Race: Visions of Change, to be held March 15-17, 2012, in Columbus, Ohio.

The Kirwan Institute is soliciting proposals for sessions that offer substantive visions of the racial/ethnic landscape in 2042. The institute welcomes proposals in a variety of subject areas, including capitalism, race and the mind sciences, global warming and energy, religion and faith, corporations, and much more.

The submission deadline is September 30, 2011!
