Participants follow a ten-month curriculum that incorporates civic engagement training, community service, and professional development activities. In addition, students use community needs assessments as a tool for youth-led advocacy. Program members receive training in conducting and synthesizing the results of the needs assessment, and they report to the Líderes Network on their activities as both NCLR National Latino Advocacy Days and the 2012 Líderes Summit.
