Each Spring scholars with diverse backgrounds and theoretical perspectives gather for three days of talks and discussion, followed by our annual CLS banquet. The conference is divided into a Main Session, comprised of talks on a broad range of linguistic issues, and one or more Parasessions, comprised of talks on more particular issues within a sub-field of the discipline. The 46th annual meeting of the Chicago Linguistic Society will be held April 8-10, 2010 at the University of Chicago. The conference will include a general session and parassesions devoted to Reevaluating the Semantics-Pragmatics Interface, Multilingualism, and Probablistic Theories of Grammar.
