At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. Thus, the following is a list of opportunities where students can go to search for funding, enrich their summers or find work after graduation.

Nominations for the Campus and Student Life Staff Awards

It is that time of year when we have the opportunity to recognize those members of our community who have enhanced campus & student life at the University of Chicago, and who have enriched the lives of their colleagues. Nominations for the Campus and Student Life Staff Awards are underway.

Anyone in the University community including faculty, staff, alumni and students may submit nominations. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, May 5.

You are encouraged to nominate a staff member who has excelled in one of the following categories:

~ Innovation
~ Outstanding Newcomer
~ Outstanding Service to Students
~ Outstanding Service to the University Community
~ Stephen P. Klass STAR Award (Service, Teamwork, Attitude, Reliability)
~ Marlene F. Richman Award* (Excellence and dedication to students.)

*Students only are invited to submit nominations for full-time staff members (excluding senior management) and faculty members.

Please visit staffwards.uchicago.edu and submit a nomination today. The Awards are great ways to say thank you!
