Athletics/Activities Intern Needed


The Urban Prep Athletics/Activities Department has an internship position available for Fall 2009. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in organizing activities across entire school, in addition to monitoring and ensuring compliance with Urban Prep, CPS and IHSA rules and regulations. Duties include data management, record keeping, light clerical work, and a moderate amount of phone communication. Assists Director with daily department operations which can include attending meetings, working with coaches, activity moderators and students. This is a part-time position, reporting directly to the Director of Athletics/Activities.



Qualifications: Possess excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills, computer skills, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects. Preferred experience in athletics/activities as a coach/moderator.
