At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. Thus, the following is a list of opportunities where students can go to search for funding, enrich their summers or find work after graduation.

Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation Scholarship

The Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation is pleased to announce that it will soon grant 20 $2 000 scholarships to deserving full-time college students who are resident of Illinois and of Latino ancestry. Complete guidelines and application materials are available at the ILLCF website www.illcf.org .

The deadline for applying is November 24, 2009. Scholarships will be awarded to successful applicants on December 3, 2009, during the scholarship luncheon portion of the 7th annual ILLCF conference held qt the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont , Illinois.

Please return completed applications (including letter of recommendation) by November 24, 2009.
