Master of Arts in Regional Studies: Latin America and the Caribbean

Columbia University in New York is offering a new masters degree program in Regional Studies: Latin America and the Caribbean and applications are currently being accepted for Fall 2010.

The program is unique and interdisciplinary, with a broad social science based approach to modern and contemporary Latin American and the Caribbean. Students will develop methodological tools to research a number of issues, including inequality, justice, democratic transitions, and the integration of the region into the global economy.


Students in this program graduate with expertise to be leaders in a variety of fields, including government, non-profits, the private sector, and academia.
