At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. Call for Abstracts

African American & Latino Research Forum:
Building a Community of Scholars

This cross-disciplinary forum was created to showcase the scholarly work of African American and Latino students from Illinois colleges and universities. Abstracts must be submitted electronically to ialhea@yahoo.com. African American and Latino undergraduate and graduate students from all majors are invited to submit abstracts or papers.

Abstract deadline: Friday, March 19, 2010
Research presentations: Friday, April 9, 2010
Location: UIC Student Center East
750 South Halsted Street
Chicago, IL 60607

The presentations will be ten minutes followed by five minutes of discussion.
Equipment for PowerPoint presentations and space for poster presentations will be provided.
