At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. Thus, the following is a list of opportunities where students can go to search for funding, enrich their summers or find work after graduation.

Katen Scholarships for students interested in science, health, medicine

CCIHP is sponsoring the Katen Scholars Program, which offers research scholarships of $3,700 to rising 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years students interested in science, medieince, and health.

Katen Scholars are funded in order to complete a summer research project with a faculty member. Previous research experience is not required and the program will run June 21st-August 27th.

Application due Mar 29th, with two letters of recommendation.
