Library Bookstacks Assistant Positions

Pay rate: $10.77
Hours: Monday- Friday (Up to 15 hours a week)
Supervisor: Ron Durham
Location: Regenstein Library

Brief Summary of Duties:
  • Shelves materials in call number order by floor and on all floors of the Library bookstacks
  • Sweep library material to be reshelved from copier areas and study tables on all floors
  • Sort material by location
  • Push bookstacks to various floors in stacks
  • Responsible for shelf reading and shifting of books where space is needed
  • Discharge books
  • Provide general direction/ informational assistance
