At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. 2011 JP Morgan $15,000 Scholarships Opportunity & Summer Analyst Position!

The J.P. Morgan Launching Leaders Undergraduate Scholarship is a program that includes internship opportunities, as well as scholarships of up to $15,000. It gives talented Black, Hispanic and Native American students the chance to fulfill their career ambitions and carve out an outstanding reputation at one of the world's leading financial services firms.

Scholarship recipients will receive a spot in our 2011 Summer Analyst internship program and awards of up to $15,000. And it's money that will be paid directly to you.

Within the internship program, you will be placed in a role in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Research or IB Risk. For sophomores, if you perform well over the course of the summer and maintain a 3.5 GPA average in school, you could win a second year of the scholarship and a spot in the 2012 Summer Analyst program.

For juniors, if you perform well over the course of the summer and maintain a 3.5 GPA average in school, you could receive a spot in the 2012 full-time Analyst program.

Who's eligible?
  • Black, Hispanic and Native American sophomores and juniors from all majors who are interested in financial services and have a 3.5 GPA minimum.
  • Students who demonstrate leadership qualities through their extracurricular achievements.
  • Strong communicators with solid analytical, quantitative and technical skills.
