At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. Institute for Responsible Citizenship Is Now Accepting Applications


The Institute for Responsible Citizenship is now accepting applications for the Class of 2012!
Each summer, the Institute hosts a summer leadership program for talented African American male college sophomores in Washington, DC. The students work at high-level internships, take a challenging course in economics and government, and meet with influential leaders.

Who is eligible?
Freshmen African American male students of all disciplines, and encourage students majoring in the sciences, business, entrepreneurship, and engineering to apply.
