At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. Thus, the following is a list of opportunities where students can go to search for funding, enrich their summers or find work after graduation.

CCI Entrepreneurship & Innovation Competition Launch Event

Requirements to attend the event:
  • Enrolled undergraduate in the College
  • Be part of either CCIPSS, CCIST, or CCIB
  • RSVP here
[To join CCIPSS or CCIST, please sign-up on Chicago Career Connection; within the Profile section, click the Academic tab, then go to the Chicago Careers in (CCI) Program Sign-up option and check the box for CCIPSS or CCIST. Once you sign-up, you must attend one CCIPSS or CCIST program or event and have one advising appointment with any CAPS counselor by the end of the Fall Quarter.]

The Challenge: Create a viable business plan for a for-profit or non-profit enterprise with a technology component that will have a positive social impact on the university, local, national, or global community.

The Prize: One winning team will receive $10,000 to launch their enterprise!
