At the University of Chicago Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, we want students to have access to academic and cultural resources, but to also have opportunities independent of the classroom and student life. MassMutual Scholars Program Offers $150,000 in Scholarships

Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) is pleased to announce that its MassMutual Scholars program is now a national scholarship program for high-achieving African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, and Hispanic students interested in careers in the insurance and financial services industry.

This year, the program will offer thirty $5,000 college scholarships to high-achieving students across the country.

Eligible students of all majors will be considered who are entering their sophomore, junior, senior, or 5th-year senior year at an accredited U.S. college or university and are interested in pursuing a career in the insurance and financial services industry.

The scholarship application is available from February 10 – May 4, 2012.  Students can apply online at www.act.org/massmutual.
