Job opportunity: Program Analyst

The Chicago Association for Research and Education in Science (CARES), a non-profit organization associated with the Hines VA Hospital and North Chicago VA Medical Center (NCVAMC), is hiring.

Program Analyst

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current large scale database depositories in combination with source data to perform the definition and classification of information for decision making and maintaining data integrity.
  • Assists in the development and preparation of forms design, audition and compilation instructions
  • Independently develops SAS program to conduct data manipulation and statistical analysis utilizing appropriate statistical methods, software and systems
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Social Science, statistics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SAS
  • Professional work experience related to description above and with medical databases a plus
  • strong SAS foundation
  • Working knowledge of large scale databases
