Job Opportunity: Research Associate

The Chicago Association for Research and Education in Science (CARES), a non-profit organization associated with the Hines VA Hospital and North Chicago VA Medical Center (NCVAMC), is hiring.

Research Associate

Responsibilities:
  • Acts independently to plan, organize, direct and control areas with emphasis on data validation, analyzes and generation of reports
  • Enters data into the project database and works with the programmer. principal investigator and statistician(s) to resolve any data entry issues
  • Manages medical records functions including retrieving, reviewing, abstracting medical records information
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Social Science, Biological Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in medical/health care industry
  • Experience reviewing medical records
