Scholarship Essay Contest

The Fastrecipes.com scholarship essay contest aims at exploring the place culinary traditions hold in one’s cultural/ethnic identity. We hope that the scholarship will serve to increase the awareness of culinary history as a vital aspect of cultural studies and a means of preserving and perpetuating ethnic traditions and values. FastRecipes.com is an online culinary arts journal.

My Recipe – My Heritage Scholarship Essay Contest – $4,500 worth of prizes will be awarded. Both US citizens and foreign students currently attending a US college, university, or another institution of higher education are eligible to participate. The essay should explore the place culinary traditions hold in one’s cultural/ethnic identity. For more information and submission guidelines, visit My Recipe – My Heritage Scholarship Guidelines.
