Chicago Careers in Business Program (CCIB)

The application for summer interview for the Chicago Careers in Business Program (CCIB) will open June 15th on the Chicago Career Connection (CCC) website. After that time, you will be able to search it out either by name "Chicago Careers in Business Class of 2014: Summer Interview" or by its posting number, 14924.

In order to apply, you must be activated to use On Campus Recruiting on CCC. If you have not yet been to CAPS, please come in to have your resume checked by a CAPS counselor before you leave campus and ask to be activated. Students who have already applied and interviewed during the Spring Quarter should not apply again. You will need to submit the following materials on CCC:

• A resume.
• An unofficial copy of your transcript showing your complete first year grades and computed GPA, uploaded as a Word document.
• A short writing sample (200-300 words) explaining your interest in business and in CCIB.
• A Word document with your SAT or ACT scores, a contact phone number, and, if you wish to be interviewed over Skype, your Skype username. Please indicate on this document whether you wish to interview in-person, over the phone, or on Skype, but please provide a contact number regardless of your selection.

The deadline for all submissions is August 15th. Starting August 18th, you'll be able to schedule your interview time with us on CCC. Since interviews will be held while school is out of session, we do not expect that you come to see us in-person, but please do let us know your preferred interview method when you apply. Interviews will be conducted from August 22nd until September 12th, and applicants will be notified of our decisions by September 23rd.
